Definition of exit

In a program, to move from the called routine back to the calling routine. A routine can have more than one exit point, thus allowing termination based on various conditions.

An item on the right-click menu for the Communicator icon that appears in the Windows taskbar that signs the user out of Communicator and closes all open Communicator windows and dialog boxes.
