Arunachal Pradesh: Students Union protest against China's claim over renaming places in state

All Arunachal Pradesh Students'Union (AAPSU) on 24 April 2017 took out a protest rally against China's claim covering the renaming 6 places during the state. On the protest rally kept in Itanagar, the Students'organisation also burnt the effigy within the Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Each student union, AAPSU, revealed that Arunachal Pradesh was part of India and will remain part of India. Many students and majority of folks participated in the protest rally.The simmering issue within the China's claim over Arunachal Pradesh gained momentum aided by the visit within the 14th Dalai Lama to hawaii in April 2017. He criticised the country's move and said, “India is free of boundary with China but Tibet since 1914 when MacMohan, the British India representative, had signed a contract aided by the Chinese representative at Shimla covering the boundary&rdquo ;.
