Eligible Criteria for UPSC Recruitment:

• Educational Qualification : 


• For Assistant Professor : Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master Degree level in concerned from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission, CSIR or State Level Eligibility Test or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission like SLET/SET.


• For Assistant Director : Master Degree of a recognized University or Institute with Degree or Diploma in Education or Adult Education from a recognized University or Institute and three years experience.


• For Assistant Director Grade-II (Mechanical) : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent with two years experience.


• For Junior Scientific Officer :  Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Mechanical from a recognized University or equivalent with two years experience


• Nationality : Indian

Age Limit :

• For Assistant Professor & Assistant Director : 35 years


• For Assistant Director Grade-II (Mechanical) & Junior Scientific Officer : 30 years

Age Relaxation :

• For OBC Candidates : 3 years


• For SC/ST Candidates : 5 years


• For PH Candidates : 10 years

Job Location : All India

Selection Process : Selection will be based on Recruitment Test & Interview.
