The right to move the Supreme Court for the enforcement of fundamental rights is itself a guaranteed rights as provided for in Art. 32 of the constitution. Thus whenever the state or any other authority encroaches upon a citizens rights. The Supreme Court and the High Courts are empowered to issue directions or orders or writs, whichever may be appropriate for the enforcement of the right. The important writs are Habeas Corpus, Mandamus Prohibition, Certiorari and Quowarranto.
