Banganapalle Mango of Andhra Pradesh gets GI Tag

The Registrar of Geographical Indications Registry, Chennai, has accorded GI Tag for ones much famed Banganapalle Mango of Andhra Pradesh. Henceforth, Andhra Pradesh government is a registered proprietor within the GI tag for Banganapalle mangoes.

A GI tag specifies that the information develops from a specific region. Geographical Indications of Backpacks are defined as that aspect of industrial property which refers to the geographical indication discussing a country or the spot situated therein as the country or host to origin of the particular product.
